Hackettstown BID announces Visual Improvement Program grant

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – The Hackettstown Business Improvement District has reintroduce their Visual Improvement Program (VIP) Grant for 2022.

The Hackettstown BID endeavors to promote a clean and attractive business district to our customers, and the VIP Grant is a great tool to help forward that mission, according to Hackettstown Business Improvement District Executive Director Laurie Rapisardi.

Through the VIP Grant process, the BID will reimburse qualified BID member businesses or building owners up to 50% of the cost up to $1000.00 for approved improvements to the exterior appearance of their business and property, Rapisardi said.

To get started, gather estimates and submit an application to the BID explaining the work to be done. The Hackettstown BID Maintenance Committee will review and decide if the project meets the VIP Grant guidelines, Rapisardi said.

Applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis, and awards will be given until the yearly VIP Grant budget amount is exhausted, Rapisardi said.
