Hackettstown BID Community Planting Day to be held this Saturday

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – The Hackettstown Business Improvement is looking for volunteers to assist with the planting of their hanging baskets and large potted plants, according to Hackettstown Business Improvement District Executive Director Laurie Rapisardi said.

The Community Planting Day will take place on Saturday, May 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Rapisardi said.

“We’ll gather in the parking lot behind the BID office (219 Main Street) for a brief but mighty planting marathon,” Rapisardi said.

The BID will provide the flowers, dirt and planters. The volunteers simply need to dress for the weather and have a mask. Also, bring a handheld shovel and a small bucket, if you have them, Rapisardi said.
