Hackettstown BID new speaker series: Stepping into spring

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – The Hackettstown Business Improvement District introduces their new speaker series, stepping into spring, with speaker Terri Rintz, DACM, L.Ac. of Center Point Wellness on Monday, April 19 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom.

“As the weather turns nicer and we begin to spend more time outside, we will discuss the importance of movement and activity and learn some easy and effective techniques to make your time outside fun and pain free. Whether you are starting a new exercise routine,  planting the garden or doing Spring cleaning, these tips are for you,” Hackettstown Business Improvement District Executive Director Laurie Rapisardi said.

Dr. Terri Rintz, acupuncturist and owner of Center Point Wellness has been a trusted wellness professional for more  than two decades. After a 14-year marketing career at AT&T, she decided to pursue her interest in helping others,  starting as a massage therapist. She quickly fell in love with  the healing potential of holistic wellness. Terri graduated  from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with her MS in Traditional Oriental Medicine in 2000, followed by her  doctorate in Acupuncture & amp; Chinese Medicine in 2016. Prior to moving her practice to Hackettstown in January 2018, she previously operated as Morris County Health & Wellness Center in Budd Lake, NJ. Now as Center Point Wellness, Terri is able to provide  individualized holistic care as a full-service wellness center with offerings, including acupuncture, massage, yoga, reiki,  Chinese herbal remedies, essential oils and a Himalayan Sea Salt Cave.

Jay Edwards

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher. Jay has been a guest on America’s Morning Headquarters,program on The Weather Channel, and was interviewed by Sam Champion.
