Hackettstown Community Day to take place Oct. 5; businesses, organizations, entertainers, invited to participate

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – The Hackettstown Police Department, Hackettstown Medical Center, Mars Wrigley, WRNJ Radio 92.7FM, 104.7FM, 105.7FM, 1510AM, QuickChek and The House of the Good Shepherd would like to invite your organization to attend the 13th Annual Hackettstown Community Day.

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 11:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.

Community Day will be held on the campus of Hackettstown Medical Center, in the rear parking lot of the Willow Grove Medical Plaza located at 653 Willow Grove St. in Hackettstown.

In years past, this event has drawn thousands of attendees and they’re hoping that even larger crowds attend this year. Community Day is geared toward public awareness of the various non-profit agencies, local businesses, clubs and organizations. Interactive displays, food and giveaways will be provided by local businesses, and everything at Community Day is free to the public.

WRNJ Radio will broadcast live from the event, courtesy of Mars Wrigley.

Entertainers (clowns, face painters, musicians, etc.) who would like to donate their time are encouraged to participate. Entertainment sponsors will be given prime display space next to the activity however, in keeping with the “free” nature of this event; no sale of items is permitted.
