Hackettstown, Mansfield cops spread holiday cheer with ‘Shop with a Cop’ (PHOTOS)

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – For the second year in a row law enforcement spread a little holiday cheer to children in Hackettstown and Mansfield Township.

At Tuesday’s event, children were paired up with either a Hackettstown Police Department or a Mansfield Township Police Department officer, who helped them select gifts which were paid for by the Hackettstown-Mansfield PBA Local 369.

The shopping spree, which was held at the Walmart in Mansfield Township, put smiles on the children’s faces as they chose gifts for themselves and their family.

The goal of the program is to help those in need and build a positive relationship between local youth and law enforcement, the PBA said.

“We also want to thank Walmart for hosting the event,” the PBA said.
