Hackettstown-Mansfield PBA autumn food drive starts Oct. 20

Hackettstown-Mansfield PBA Local 369 is sponsoring an autumn food drive to benefit the Trinity United Methodist Church Lord’s Pantry in Hackettstown.

Items can be dropped off at both the Hackettstown Police Department, located at 215 West Siger St, and Mansfield Township Police Department, located at 100 Port Murray Road, from Oct. 20 through Nov. 2.

The PBA is requesting:

  • Canned vegetables
  • pasta
  • canned dinners
  • canned fruit
  • pasta sauces;
  • juice
  • instant potatoes
  • cereal
  • peanut butter,
  • rice
  • stuffing
  • canned tomatoes
  • canned potatoes
  • gravy

Those able to donate a turkey are asked to contact either police station.

Trinity’s Lord’s Pantry feeds approximately 850 families per month and that number rises considerably for the holidays.
