Hackettstown, Mansfield police participate in ‘Beards in Blue’ to benefit the Joan Knechel Cancer Center

Members of Hackettstown-Mansfield PBA Local 369 will be participating in a “Beards In Blue” Fundraiser this month.

Officers will be putting down their razors and growing their facial hair to support The Joan Knechel Cancer Center at Hackettstown Medical Center.

Their anti-shave campaign is meant to raise cancer awareness and encourage people to live healthy and get their regular medical checkups to detect issues that could lead to cancer.

The members and the organization will be donating money for each participating officer, but they need your help. Cancer research and treatments are very costly, and they want to lend as much help as possible to those who are fighting for a cure.

They’re asking you to donate today and help them help others. To donate, click here.
