Hackettstown Police Department deploys new radar speed signs

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – The Hackettstown Police Department has added new pieces of equipment to assist in their efforts to combat excessive speeds on the roadways.

The police department now has 2 portable digital speed signs that will be placed in various locations throughout the town, police said.

The digital signs will display an approaching vehicle’s speed along with a digital message, police said.

The signs will not only monitor vehicle speed but can also compile traffic data, police said.
