
Hackettstown police investigating string of car break-ins, stolen car
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Hackettstown police are reminding residents to lock their cars after a string of vehicle break-ins and a car was stolen.
On Aug. 29, police responded to numerous reports of vehicles that were burglarized and a car that was stolen, police said.
The incidents occurred on College View Dr. The burglaries occurred sometime between the hours of 11:00 p.m. on August 28 and 5:00 a.m. on August 29, police said.
The stolen car was recovered in Metuchen Sunday morning, police said
Police urge all residents to continue to be diligent with securing your vehicles and don’t leave valuables (i.e. electronics, coins, purses, wallets) inside.
