Hackettstown restricts parking to one side of the street due to snow volumes

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Beginning on Friday, February 5 at 12:00 p.m. and until further notice, street parking is allowed only on the even-numbered house side of the streets throughout Hackettstown, police said.

“This is due to the excessive amount of snow that is impeding the width of many of our town streets, which is making two-way travel practically impossible,” police said.

If there are no parking signs already in place on the even-numbered side, people can park on the odd-numbered side and if there are no parking signs in place on both sides of the roadway, you will not be able to park on the street, police said.

There will also be no parking on the eastbound side of Route 46 (Main Street) from Valentine Street to Warren Street, police said.

Vehicles that do not abide by the restrictions may be ticketed and towed, police said.
