Hackettstown volunteer firefighter celebrates 65 years of service; receives Proclamation from NJ State Fireman’s Association

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – During Monday night’s Hackettstown Relief Association meeting, Bruce A. Tynan received a proclamation from the New Jersey State Fireman’s Association, in recognition of 65 years of service to the Hackettstown Fire Department, according to a post on the Hackettstown Fire Department’s Facebook page.

Also included were his many accomplishments in the fire service as well as the relief association.

For 65 years, he has faithfully volunteered as a member of the fire department. He still answers alarms, attends drills, meetings, assists with fundraisers, and serves on company and department committees.

“Congratulations Bruce on your much deserved recognition!,” the fire department said.
