Hackettstown’s 2021 Spring Festival canceled due to pandemic

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Due to the pandemic, the 2021 Spring Festival is canceled, Hackettstown Business Improvement District Executive Director Laurie Rapisardi said.

“We are striving for the best Spring Festival ever in 2022,” Rapisardi said.

Here are the Hackettstown BID’s upcoming events for the rest of 2021:

  • Cinco de Mayo Celebration ~ May 1 – 2
  • Vintage Day ~ June 19 (possible Lowes location…need approval)
  • Late Night Thursday WITH Bands ~ Every Thursday Night, 6-8pm, July 8 – August  26
  • Family Lawn Movie with Hackettstown Recreation ~ July 2021 – Date TBD
  • Family Lawn Movie with Hackettstown Recreation ~ August 2021 – Date TBD Autumn Lamplight – Date TBD
  • Hackettstown Street Fair ~ September 19th
  • Oktoberfest ~ September 24-26 Scarecrow Contest ~ October 5 – November 7
  • Halloween Downton ~ October 31
  • Shop Small Saturday ~ November 27
  • It Pays to Shop Small ~ November 27 – December 5
  • Hometown Holiday ~ December 3-5
  • Candy Cane Lane ~ December 3-5

Jay Edwards

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher.
