Hackettstown’s Oktoberfest brings road closures, parking restrictions on Saturday and Sunday

HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Hackettstown’s Oktoberfest will be held this weekend and police are warning motorists that a section of Main Street and two other streets will be closed on Saturday, Sept. 24 and Sunday, Sept. 25.

The following roads will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday:

  • Main St (Route 46) from High St (Route 517) to Liberty St.
  • Valentine St from Washington St to Main St.
  • Grand Ave from Main St to Washington St.

There will also be no parking on Main St from High St to Liberty St, Valentine St from Washington Street to Main Street, Grand Ave from Washington St to Main St, Liberty St from Main St to Franklin St, and Franklin St from High St to Liberty St. Any vehicle parked in a no parking zone will be ticketed and towed, police said.

Police advise to expect traffic delays in the area.

The Hackettstown Business Improvement District, Czig Meister Brewing Company, Manskirt Brewing Company, and Bea McNally’s will be hosting events throughout the course of the weekend (Friday – Sunday). This is a free event to attend.

Oktoberfest is a family friendly event and there will be kids activities and other non-alcohol related activities.
