Hakettstown, Mansfield police raise $2,090 with ‘Beards in Blue’ fundraiser

Hackettstown and Mansfield Police Departments raised $2,090 through their “Beards In Blue” Fundraiser.

The Hackettstown and Mansfield Police Officers put down their razors during November and grew facial hair to support The Joan Knechel Cancer Center at Hackettstown Medical Center.

In the last three years, they’ve raised over $8,000 for the Joan Knechel Cancer Center.

Their anti-shave campaign was meant to raise cancer awareness and encourage people to live healthy lives and get regular medical checkups. Cancer research and treatments are very costly, and we wanted to lend as much help as possible to those who are fighting for a cure.

Both departments thanked those who donated and they look forward to participating and raising more funds next year.
