Helping Homeless Heroes & Hounds Campaign

BUDD LAKE, NJ (Morris County)- The Morris County American Legion and the All Veterans Alliance are running a Helping Homeless Heroes & Hounds campaign this November.  


Together, the Morris County American Legion and All Veterans Alliance have provided more than 12,350 severe weather backpacks to our homeless neighbors throughout Northeast New Jersey.  If you or someone you know need severe weather backpacks, please contact the Morris County American Legion and All Veterans Alliance to be added to the list.

Accepted items for donation include: backpacks, small blankets, sweatshirts, socks, hats, scarves, gloves, hand/feet warmers, lotion, lip balm, advil/tylenol (travel size), tissues, toothpaste/toothbrushes, granola bars, single packed cookies, candy, and dog treats. 

Monetary donations should be made out to the All Veterans Alliance, 12 Jennies Lane, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.  All other donations can be dropped off at designated sites or at the All Veterans Memorial, 30 Flanders Road, Budd Lake, NJ on November 8 – 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
