Heroin, cocaine, drug paraphernalia found during traffic stop in Hunterdon County

FLEMINGTON BOROUGH, NJ – A Mercer County man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop last month in Flemington Borough, according to police.

On October 19, an officer stopped a vehicle for various traffic violations. Upon approach of the vehicle, numerous wax folds of heroin and used needles were observed in plain view. K9 Kita was deployed and positively indicated on the car, police said.

Daniel J. Hoffman, 39, of Ewing Township was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, careless driving, failure to stop/yield and failure to produce driver’s license, registration, and insurance card.

Hoffman was released pending a court appearance.
