Heroin, crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia found during traffic stop in Morris County

DENVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – A Boonton woman is facing drug charges following a traffic stop in Morris County.

On October 11, police stopped a vehicle on Interstate 80 westbound after observing a speeding violation on Route 46 westbound, police said.

During the course of the stop, officers observed signs of controlled dangerous substance use inside of the vehicle. and a further investigation revealed that the driver, Alana Dorrbecker, 42, was in possession of heroin, crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Dorrbecker was arrested and charged with possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was issued motor vehicle summonses for speeding, failure to signal a lane change, and operating a motor vehicle while in possession of CDS, police said.

Dorrbecker was released pending a court appearance.
