Hopatcong police search for car burglary suspects (VIDEO)

HOPATCONG BOROUGH, NJ (Sussex County) – Police are looking for the suspects they say are responsible for several car burglaries in Hopatcong Borough.

The burglaries occurred early Thursday morning. The suspects were walking around at night looking for unlocked vehicles, police said.

Surveillance video shows the suspects on Lilchester Road.

Police are reminding residents to remain vigilant, lock their car doors, don’t leave car keys in the vehicle, remove valuable items or keep them out of sight and report any suspicious persons or activity observed.

Anyone with information on the break-ins is asked to call the Hopatcong Borough Police Department at 973-398-5000.
