Hope Chamber Holds Annual Candidates Night

HOPE TWP, NJ (Warren County) – The Annual Hope Area Chamber of Commerce Candidates Night  is scheduled for Tuesday Oct. 15, 7 p.m. at the Hope Grange, 128 Great Meadows Road. This is the only county-wide candidates night in Warren County.

The format of the night is as follows: each candidate will have five minutes to present what they will do if elected.  Candidates are also available to answer questions on a one-to-one basis following the program.

Invited candidates include: 24th District Assembly Republican incumbents Parker Space and Hal Wirths, along with Assembly Democratic challengers Deana Lykins and Dan Soloman Smith.  Warren County Sheriff candidates who are invited include: Republican incumbent James McDonald, and Democratic challenger Scott McDonald. Lastly, the Freeholder candidates will be, Republican incumbent Jason Sarnoski and Democratic challenger Carol Cook.

In addition, the lone candidate for Hope Township Committee, John Kruk, will provide his views on the future of Hope.

The evening is open to the public and is free to attend.  This year’s Election Day is scheduled for Tuesday Nov. 5.
