RARITAN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Hunterdon County Commissioner Director Jeff Kuhl along with the Mayor of Raritan Township Scott Sipos Wednesday attended a grant award ceremony at the Flemington Elks Lodge #1928.

The recipients of grant funds were all local non-profits: the Flemington Food Pantry, America’s Grow-a-Row, and the Harvest Family Success Center of Flemington.

“It is an honor to be here this evening to express my gratitude on behalf of the entire Board, and to recognize the hard work and dedication of these local non-profits for the work they do in our community. It is through the contributions and collective efforts of these organizations, their volunteers, and the community members that our residents have increased access to healthy and nutritious foods,” Kuhl said.

A grant in the amount of $4,000 was awarded to the Flemington Food Pantry, through the Beacon Grant, as part of the Elks National Foundation Community Investments Program.
