Hunterdon County Commissioners join ribbon cutting ceremony at HealthQuest: 55 MAIN Café
FLEMINGTON, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Deputy Director Jeff Kuhl, along with Commissioner Director Zach Rich, and Commissioner Susan Soloway recently attended a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the opening of 55 MAIN Café, located at the HealthQuest Fitness Club, in Flemington.
55 MAIN café is a casual dine-in and take-out establishment located inside HealthQuest, catering to club members, as well as being open to the public. The menu offers a variety of sandwiches and wraps, fresh salads, and main dishes including ‘Kids’ menu items.
Additionally, patrons can enjoy freshly made smoothies, an assortment of protein bars and drinks, along with a grab-n-go section for people looking for something quick or to take home.
The café is a spin-off of the award-winning local favorite “55 Main”, formally located on Main Street in Flemington for many years. Chef and owner, Jonas Gold, is a long-time Hunterdon County resident who prioritizes giving back to the community through support for organizations like Operation Jersey Cares, local sports teams, charity groups, and frontline workers.
“On behalf of the entire Commissioners Board we would like to congratulate Mr. Gold on the recent opening of the 55 MAIN Café. We wish him much luck on his continued service and support for the community. I encourage people to stop by and check out the café,” Kuhl said.
HealthQuest is a premier Athletic, Fitness and Wellness Club that opened in 2001. The facility is located on Route 31 in Hunterdon County. It is a family-friendly club that offers inclusive programs for the entire community including, children’s programs, over 150 group fitness classes, 2 state-of-the-art fitness centers, Pilates & Wellness studios, an outdoor and indoor pool, running track, and basketball courts.
