Hunterdon County CrimeStoppers offering $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of fugitive of the week

HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ – Hunterdon County CrimeStoppers is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of a fugitive, according to Hunterdon County Acting Prosecutor Michael Williams.

Abhinaba Barhakur, 54, has been indicted in Superior Court for third-degree threatening to commit violence to another person. A bench warrant for Barhakur’s arrest was issued after he failed to appear in Superior Court and extradition is from NJ, NY, PA and DE, Williams said.

Barhakur, whose last known address is in Hillsborough, is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall and 170 pounds with black hair, brown eyes, Williams said.

Anyone with information on Barhakur’s whereabouts are asked to contact the Hunterdon County Fugitive Task Force at 908-788-1129 or your local police department, Williams said.
