Hunterdon County Cultural and Heritage Commission offers free Technical Assistance Workshops

HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ – Deputy Director Commissioner Jeff Kuhl announced at the May 16 board meeting, that the Cultural & Heritage Commission will be hosting 3 free Technical Assistance Workshops for Hunterdon County arts and non-profit organizations. Light refreshments will be served at these workshops, and pre-registration is required.

“These are very useful and resourceful workshops that Cultural & Heritage Commission is offering to residents. The board supports these programs that promote arts and cultural education that is essential to the economy and quality of life in Hunterdon County. I encourage the public to take full advantage of these programs and register today,” Kuhl said.

Executive Director for the Cultural & Heritage Commission, Natalie Zaman said, “Our primary purpose is to support our many non-profit arts and history organizations. The workshops we are offering this year are based on direct feedback from the organizations we support and funded through our Local Arts Program grant. We are grateful for the support of the Board of County Commissioners in these efforts, and to the Hunterdon County Library System for providing accessible workshop space.”

All workshops will take place at the Hunterdon County Main Branch Library, located at 314 NJ-12, in Flemington and begin at 10:30 a.m. on the designated date:

  • May 23, 2023: “Volunteer Engagement”, presented by, Michele Francesconi of Jersey Cares.
  • June 13, 2023: “Next Practices for Nonprofit Boards”, presented by, Allison Trimarco, owner of Creative Capacity.
  • September 20, 2023: “Digital Marketing for the Arts and History”, presented by, Michael Pilla.
