Hunterdon County housing choice lottery opens June 1st

HUNTERDON COUNTY, NJ – Deputy Director Commissioner Jeff Kuhl, who also serves as the liaison to the Department of Human Services, announced that the Division of Housing will be accepting preliminary applications for the Section 8 Housing Choice lottery on June 1.

The application will be available online at and will remain open through and including June 15.

Housing staff will be available 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, while the waiting list is open, to assist individuals who need help in registering on the web portal.

Housing Director, Kevin Burghardt will be hosting two information sessions for agencies who are interested in assisting their clients with the preliminary application.
