Hunterdon County man accused of making false report to police

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Hunterdon County man is accused of making a false report to Readington Township police.

On Friday, Nov. 3, at around 6:25 p.m., police responded to the Belvidere Motel for a report of a burglary, police said.

Police determined that Michael Fiore, 65, of Whitehouse Station filed a false report because he lost his wallet and prescription medication, police said.

Fiore was arrested and charged with false reports to law enforcement, police said.
