
Hunterdon County man arrested for possessing child pornography
LAMBERTVILLE CITY, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Hunterdon County man was arrested following a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) that led to a joint investigation by the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office’s Forensic Unit, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, and the Lambertville City Police Department, according to acting Hunterdon County Prosecutor Michael J. Williams.
On March 18, Mitchell Ege, Jr., 36, of Lambertville City was charged with second-degree possession of child pornography and is being held in the Warren County Jail pending his first court appearance, Williams said.
This is an ongoing investigation, and anyone with relevant information regarding Ege is encouraged to call the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office’s at 908-788-1129, Williams said.
