
Hunterdon County man arrested for sexual assault
READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Hunterdon County man has been arrested on charges sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child endangerment in Readington Township, according to acting Hunterdon County Prosecutor Michael J. Williams.
A joint investigation by the Hunterdon and Somerset County Prosecutor’s Offices, and the Readington, Raritan, and Clinton Township Police Departments, resulted in the arrest of Jose Ramos-Ramirez. Ramirez, 26, on April 10, Williams said.
No further information was released.
Ramos-Ramirez was charged with second-degree sexual assault, third-degree endangering the welfare of a child, and fourth-degree lewdness. He was lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility awaiting his first appearance, Williams said.
