Hunterdon County man charged with resisting arrest, obstruction

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Hunterdon County man is facing charges including resisting arrest Friday night in Readington Township.

On August 6, at 8:47 p.m., police responded to Roosevelt Road for a suspicious person. When officers arrived on scene, they located a shoeless and shirtless male walking in the roadway, police said.

The man allegedly refused to identify himself and was arrested for obstruction. While being arrested, he attempted to pull away from the officers and resisted arrest, police said.

The man was eventually identified as Daniel Malinowski of Readington Township and was charged with obstruction, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He was released pending a court appearance, police said.
