Hunterdon County man found sleeping in victim’s house arrested, accused of criminal trespassing

FLEMINGTON BOROUGH, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Hunterdon County man was arrested last month after Flemington Borough police found a man sleeping in the victim’s house.

On Thursday, January 20, at around 9:51 p.m., police responded to a residence in the area of Turn Table Junction for a report of an unknown male inside the residence, police said.

When police arrived, officers were advised that when the homeowners returned home after being away, they heard a man coughing in the residence, police said.

Once entry was gained into the residence, Marco Sandoval, 29, of Flemington was found sleeping on the floor on couch cushions, according to the homeowners.

Sandoval was subsequently arrested and charged with criminal trespassing. He was then released pending a court appearance, police said.
