Hunterdon County man is charged with inhaling toxic chemicals

FLEMINGTON BOROUGH, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Hunterdon County man is facing several charges including inhaling toxic chemicals after he was allegedly driving his vehicle while yelling and honking his horn at people in Flemington Borough, according to police.

On September 6, officers responded to the area of Staples for a man driving his vehicle while yelling and honking his horn at people, police said.

An officer made contact with the driver, who was identified as Zakary Fasino, 34, of Pittstown, who refused to put his window down and speak with the officer, police said.

Fasino was later removed from the vehicle and found to be under the influence. A Drug Recognition Expert then preformed a series of tests on him, police said.

Fasino was charged with driving while intoxicated, obstruction, inhaling toxic chemicals and possession of toxic chemicals for inhaling. He was then released to a responsible person pending a court appearance, police said.
