Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office swears in new assistant prosecutor

FLEMINGTON, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Hunterdon County Prosecutor Renée M. Robeson has announced the hiring of a new assistant prosecutor for the Hunterdon County Prosecutor’s Office.

David Paneque was sworn in on May 15 by the Honorable William G. Mennen, J.S.C. at the Hunterdon County Justice Center.

AP Paneque previously worked as a law clerk for Florio Perrucci Steinhardt Cappelli Tipton & Taylor LLC and served as a certified legal intern for the Dauphin County (Pennsylvania) District Attorney’s and Public Defender’s Offices.

He received his bachelor’s degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey and graduated from Widener University Commonwealth Law School.

David is a member of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey and served on the Student Division of the Pennsylvania Bar Association while in law school.

Born and raised in Northwest NJ, Jay has a degree in Communications and has had a life-long interest in local radio and various styles of music. Jay has held numerous jobs over the years such as stunt car driver, bartender, voice-over artist, traffic reporter (award winning), NY Yankee maintenance crewmember and peanut farm worker. His hobbies include mountain climbing, snowmobiling, cooking, performing stand-up comedy and he is an avid squirrel watcher. Jay has been a guest on America’s Morning Headquarters,program on The Weather Channel, and was interviewed by Sam Champion.
