Hunterdon County woman arrested for alleged possession of heroin

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A 28-year-old Hunterdon County woman was arrested for alleged possession of heroin during a traffic stop Wednesday morning in Readington Township.

On March 23, at around 10:55 a.m., police stopped a vehicle on Route 202 for an improper display of the front license plate, police said.

During the stop, the front seat passenger, who was identified as Kathryn Blomgren of Three Bridges, was arrested on a criminal warrant out of New Brunswick Municipal Court for $750.00 and possession of heroin, police said.

Blomgren was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance and lodged in the Warren County Jail.
