FLEMINGTON, NJ (Hunterdon County) – Officials at Hunterdon Healthcare have released a statement confirming their first coronavirus patient.
A press release on their website says quote, “Hunterdon Healthcare received confirmation that a patient at Hunterdon Medical Center tested positive for Coronavirus COVID-19. This is the first case for Hunterdon Healthcare and Hunterdon County. The patient is doing well and has been discharged for home isolation.
Hunterdon Healthcare was proactively prepared to manage this situation and acutely followed all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines for both the patient and our staff. Hunterdon Healthcare stands well-prepared to keep our community and employees safe throughout this public health crisis.“
No additional details about the patient have been released at this time.
