I-80 eastbound lane closure needed this week for survey work in Hardwick and Knowlton Townships

Closure necessary for survey work

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) has scheduled a closure of the right lane on I-80 eastbound this week in Hardwick and Knowlton Townships in Warren County.

Beginning on Wednesday, March 1 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and continuing on Thursday, March 2 and Friday, March 3 at the same times, the right lane on I-80 eastbound is scheduled to be closed from milepost 0.0 near the on-ramp from River Road in Hardwick Township to mile post 2.0 near the Weigh Station/U-turn in Knowlton Township.

The closure is necessary for survey work. One lane will remain open while the work is taking place and if work is completed early, the lane will reopen sooner.

Motorists are advised to slow down and use caution when driving through the work zone. The precise timing of the work is subject to change due to weather or other factors.
