International Drive South paving work in Mount Olive Twp. to begin on Oct. 23

MOUNT OLIVE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Morris County) – As part of the New Jersey Department of Transportation Trust Fund Grant, Mount Olive Township and their contractor, Riverview Paving, Inc., will be milling, paving, and making drainage improvements along International Drive South.

The work will begin on or about Monday, Oct. 23 and is scheduled to be completed on Friday, Nov. 3, weather permitting. The hours of operation will be 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Rehabilitation will be conducted in two segments.  Segment A limits are from the Rt. 46/International Drive intersection to the traffic light at the Amazon Driveway (both directions).

Segment B limits are the east bound lane of International Drive from the 1st access driveway to the 2nd access driveway (one direction).

Traffic on International Drive South will remain open in both directions during construction, however, one lane of travel will be used for both directions in certain sections during construction.

“Please give yourself extended travel time and drive safely,” township officials said.
