Intoxicated man allegedly throws metal furniture through liquor store window, damages police property

FRANKLIN BOROUGH, NJ (Sussex County) – A Sussex County man was arrested after he allegedly threw metal furniture through the storefront window of ShopRite Liquors and then later damaged police property in Franklin Borough, according to police.

Aaren Snook, 42, of Branchville was arrested and charged on July 14 with third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and several local ordinance violations, police said.

Snook is alleged to have been intoxicated and threw metal furniture through the storefront window of Shoprite Liquors after being denied the purchase of additional alcohol, police said. He then damaged borough property at police headquarters while in custody, police said.

Snook was charged and then released pending his court appearance in Sussex County Superior Court in accordance with the NJ Bail Reform Act, police said.
