Investigation underway after three school buses catch on fire in Hunterdon County

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – An investigation is underway after three small school buses caught fire in Hunterdon County on Friday morning.

According to a post on the Township of Clinton Division of Fire Facebook page, the incident happened at 12:46 a.m. at the Spruce Run school on Friday, and no one was injured.

When the fire chief arrived on scene, three small buses were fully involved at the end of the row. Firefighters  operated for 90 minutes, authorities said.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Clinton Township Fire Marshal’s office and the Clinton Township Police Department.
