Kean joins colleagues to lead resolution in support of preserving, protecting Social Security

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Rep. Tom Kean, Jr. (R-NJ) joined Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) and nine of his colleagues to introduce a resolution in support of protecting and preserving Social Security for current beneficiaries, and for future generations to come.

“For 87 years the American Dream has come with a promise; you work hard, play by the rules, and after paying into the system your entire career – you get the benefit of Social Security when you retire. This Congress has a duty to protect Social Security for retirees, seniors, and those in need of today and tomorrow. I am proud to co-lead this resolution to clearly reaffirm that House Republicans are committed to keeping that promise,” Kean, Jr said.
