Lane closures expected during roadway striping on I-78 in Warren County Dec. 7-9

WARREN COUNTY, NJ – Motorists using I-78 eastbound and westbound in Warren County might encounter moving single-lane closures (two of three lanes open in a respective direction) during daytime hours Wednesday, Dec. 7, to Friday, Dec. 9, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

The travel restrictions will allow for line painting work along the 4.2 miles of I-78 that the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission owns and operates between the I-78 Toll Bridge and the Routes 22/173 interchange (Exit 3), the commission said.

The lane striping work would take place 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on those dates so long as weather and temperature conditions are favorable, the commission said.

Motorist impacts, if any, should be minor. Motorists are urged to reduce speeds and exercise caution if they encounter moving roadway painting operations, the commission said.
