
Large crowds attend annual community day in Hackettstown (PHOTOS)
HACKETTSTOWN, NJ (Warren County) – Many happy people showed up for the 13th annual Community Day in Hackettstown on Saturday.
This free event was held on the campus of Hackettstown Medical Center. It included numerous activities, a K-9 demonstration, the Atlantic Air Ambulance landed, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office provided free child ID’s and Hackettstown Medical Center’s Teddy Bear Hospital had staff from the emergency department treating “stuffed ” patients.
Multiple businesses, groups and nonprofits brought services and information to the community.
Hackettstown Medical Center, Quick Chek, Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar, Marley’s Gotham Grill, The House of the Good Shepherd, and Wawa provided plenty of free food and drinks for the attendees.
Mars Wrigley was also on site handing out tons of candy to the visitors.
The event was sponsored by the Hackettstown Police Department, Atlantic Health System/Hackettstown Medical Center, Mars Wrigley, QuickChek, WRNJ Radio, The House of the Good Shepherd, Marley’s Gotham Grill, ShopRite, Wawa, Applebees Grill + Bar, Fulton Bank, and Jack’s Scissor Wiz.
The 14th Annual Hackettstown Community Day will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020 on the campus of Hackettstown Medical Center.
