Long Valley man found asleep in car with engine running charged with DWI

TEWKSBURY TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Long Valley man is facing several charges including DWI after Tewksbury Police allegedly found him sleeping in his car with the engine running Monday morning.

On Sept. 16 at 2:58 a.m., officers found a running motor vehicle parked on the shoulder of Route 517 with a man asleep in the driver’s seat, police said. 

Ryan Liszak, 38, was charged DWI, reckless driving, and failure to keep right after attempting to drive away, police said.

Liszak was later released on his own recognizance.
