Man, 29, arrested after three-week long drug investigation in Phillipsburg

PHILLIPSBURG, NJ (Warren County) – A three-week long investigation into the alleged distribution of of heroin and crack cocaine in Phillipsburg has led to the arrest of a Warren County man, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

The Warren County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force, Phillipsburg Police Department and the New Jersey State Police executed a search warrant at 38 Fox Street on Phillipsburg, authorities said

Subsequently, an arrest warrant for Khalil Thomas, 29, of Phillipsburg was executed for the distribution of CDS. As a result of the search warrant there was 22 vials of crack cocaine located in the residence. The combined street value of the CDS involved in the distributions and search warrant seizures is approximately $2,080, the prosecutor’s office said.

Thomas was charged with two counts of third-degree distribution of CDS, and two counts of third-degree possession with intent to distribute CDS. He was lodged in the Warren County Jail pending a detention hearing.
