Man, 64, accused of smearing dog feces on neighbor’s car in Mansfield Township
MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Mansfield Township man is accused of smearing dog feces all over the victim’s car windshield and leaving a pile of feces on his truck, police said Monday.
On January 25, police responded to an apartment complex for a report of vandalism to a vehicle. Upon arrival, the victim told officers that someone had smeared dog feces on his vehicle’s windshield and left a pile of feces on his trunk, police said.
Police determined that a 62-year-old male neighbor had committed the act claiming his neighbor doesn’t clean up after his dog. He had taken the feces from a garbage pail the victim uses to store the collected feces prior to trash pickup, police said.
He was charged with a local ordinance for creating a nuisance and was released with a court date, police said.
