INDEPENDENCE TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Sussex County man was charged after he allegedly wrote a back check, according to police.

The bad check was written to an Independence Township business in the amount of over $6,000 for work performed. The check was written and signed Michael Liska, 58, of Hopatcong Borough, police said.
