Man airlifted after being run over by bobcat in Warren County

BLAIRSTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A Cliffside Park Borough man was airlifted to the hospital after being run over by a bobcat UTV with a front end loader Monday afternoon in Blairstown Township, according to Blairstown Township Police Chief Scott Johnsen.

The incident happened at around 2:15 p.m. at the Blairstown Airport. The male was run over on his chest area by one of the tires of the machine, Johnsen said.

The male was working for a landscaping company that was finishing work on repaving of the runway, Johnsen said.

The Blairstown Ambulance Corp arrived on scene and was then flown to Morristown Medical Center, Johnsen said.

At this time, there is no word on the victim’s condition.

Also assisting on scene was the Blairstown Hose Company #1.
