Man airlifted to hospital after falling from tree in Hunterdon County

ALEXANDRIA TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A 63-year-old Tennessee man was airlifted to the hospital Saturday after he fell from a tree, New Jersey State Police spokesperson Alejandro Goez said.

The incident happened on Dec. 5 at 12:08 p.m. in the 100 block of Mt Salem Road in Alexandria Township, Goez said.

The 63-year-old man from Vonore fell from a tree approximately 100 yards from the road while attempting to set up a tree stand. Another person with him called 911 immediately, Goez said.

The victim suffered several injuries and was airlifted to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Goez said.
