Man allegedly grabbed employee at Washington Borough tavern

WASHINGTON BOROUGH, NJ (Warren County) – A Warren County was charged after he was allegedly acting disorderly and then grabbed an employee at William’s Irish Tavern.

On Feb. 19, at around 9:03 p.m., Washington Township police responded to William’s Irish Tavern, located at 101 East Washington Avenue, in Washington Borough for a disorderly patron that grabbed an employee, police said.

Upon the officer’s arrival and subsequent investigation, Lawrence Walls, 59, of Port Colden was located and charged with disorderly conduct and a local ordinance of maintaining a nuisance. He was processed and released with a mandatory court date, police said.
