Man arrested after ecstasy found during traffic stop in Hunterdon County

READINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ (Hunterdon County) – An Essex County man is facing drug charges in Hunterdon County after police said they found ecstasy during a traffic stop Wednesday morning.

On March 9, at around 1:50 a.m., police stopped Donald Thomas, 37, of East Orange for speeding on Interstate 78 in Readington Township, police said.

Thomas was allegedly in possession of several ecstasy pills and possession of a baggie of suspected crushed up ecstasy, police said.

Thomas was charged with possession of CDS, speeding, maintenance of lamps, driving while suspended, and possession of CDS in a motor vehicle.
