Man arrested after five-week long drug investigation in Mansfield Township

MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ (Warren County) – A five-week long investigation into the alleged distribution of heroin and methamphetamine in the Mansfield Township area has led to the arrest of a 31-year-old Phillipsburg man, according to the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office.

Jonathan Neceda was arrested on June 17 by the Phillipsburg Police Department, prosecutor’s office said.

Neceda was charged with two counts of third-degree distribution of heroin, and two counts of third-degree possession with intent to distribute heroin, one count of third-degree distribution of methamphetamine, and one count of third-degree possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Neceda was lodged in the Warren County Correctional Facility.

Each third-degree offense carries a maximum of five years in New Jersey state Prison.

The inveisgation was conducted by the Hackettstown Police, Mansfield Township Police, Phillipsburg Police, Washington Township (Warren County) Police, and the Warren County Narcotics Task Force.
