Man arrested in connection with vandalism of Hunterdon County Mexican restaurant sign

FLEMINGTON BOROUGH, NJ (Hunterdon County) – A Hunterdon County man was arrested for allegedly vandalizing a Mexican restaurant sign in Flemington Borough.

Over the last two weeks, Viva Mexico, located at 148 Main Street, has had their business sign vandalized, police said.

On Wednesday, June 29, at around 4:25 a.m., an officer arrested Eduardo E. Garcia, 45, of Flemington after he was observed attempting to vandalize the sign once again, police said.

Garcia was charged with criminal mischief and unlawful possession of a weapon, police said.

A follow-up investigation led to Garcia being charged with three more counts of criminal mischief, police said.

Garcia was released pending a court appearance.
